Bugaboo Stamps :: Christmas in July :: Day 1 (and how to make puffy snow)

Welcome to day 1 of the week-long Bugaboo Stamps Christmas in July event over on the Catch the Bug blog.  There are masses of prizes to be won, and a full list can be seen here.

 Today our challenge is 

My card features the image Tropical Santa - Surfboard that I coloured using Copics and a white gel pen.

I also used the following to create my card:

white cs cardbase

blue cs mat

digital background

computer generated sentiment (MS Word)

 puffy white snow

Tip to make white (and sparkly) white snow :

- cover the area with Glossy Accents

- sprinkle a mixture of white and sparkly embossing powder

- dry with your heat gun until it starts to puff up then stop .  The now will still be soft but dry to the touch.  Set aside to dry completely.
